Fourth Building Strengthens Jobs and Innovation

ALD Vacuum Technologies is continuing to invest in its Hanau site and is planning another expansion. The new building represents the third expansion at our location and underscores the company’s long-term commitment to the region.

The animation shows what the future building by equipment manufacturer ALD Vacuum Technologies will look like.

The project aims to create additional capacity for growth, innovation, and international business. It responds to sustained demand for highly specialized equipment used in industries such as aerospace, energy transition, and advanced materials.
“With the third expansion of our site, we are sending a clear signal in favor of Hanau,” says Managing Director Michael Hohmann. “The new building will enable further growth, create jobs, and provide the space needed to continuously advance our technologies.”

Hanau’s Mayor Claus Kaminsky highlights the importance of the investment: “This expansion demonstrates a strong commitment to Hanau as a business location. It creates and secures jobs while strengthening the region’s industrial capabilities. ALD is a prime example of how innovation-driven industry in Germany can remain competitive.” Completion of the new facility is scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
