CEO (Chief Executive Officer) - Chairman of the Management Board
Mr. Guido Löber was appointed to the Management Board of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH, based in Hanau, as Chairman of the Management Board/CEO as of March 4, 2019. Furthermore, Mr. Löber is Managing Director/CEO of GfE Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH and of AMG Technologies GmbH.
After successfully completing his studies in process engineering in 1988, Mr. Löber held various management positions in the field of production and supply chain at Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH. In 2000, Mr. Löber assumed responsibility for the Alloys Division of GfE Metalle und Materialien GmbH. In 2006 he was appointed Managing Director of GfE Metalle und Materialien GmbH. In 2011, he became Managing Director of GfE Fremat GmbH. In November 2013, he assumed overall responsibility for the GfE Group as Managing Director/CEO of GfE Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH based in Nuremberg. GfE Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH operates under the name AMG Titanium Alloys & Coatings within the AMG Group.
On January 1, 2019, Mr. Löber was appointed Managing Director of the newly founded AMG Technologies GmbH, based in Frankfurt. AMG Technologies GmbH acts as a holding company of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH and GfE Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH.
Dr. Christian Momm
CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
As of March 1, 2017, Dr. Christian Momm was appointed to the Management Board of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH, headquartered in Hanau, Germany as CFO.
After successfully completing his studies in industrial engineering in 1989, Dr. Momm mediated his funding in 1995. Subsequently, he worked as a project manager before moving to a world-leading construction company as a long-standing member of the management and CFO. Since 2012, Dr. Momm has been working in the same position at a leading international manufacturer of drilling rigs and -systems.
Mr. Michael Protzmann attended the Technical University of Darmstadt from 1978 until 1983 and received a Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He started his career with Leybold-Heraeus in the Design Department in 1983.
In 1988 he took over the leadership of the Design Group for Vacuum-Metallurgical Remelting Furnaces and was made Department Manager Mechanical Design with Leybold-Durferrit / Division Remelting Units in 1991. In 1993 he was made responsible for all Mechanical Design Departments.
In 1996 he became Assistant Technical Manager and was made Vice President Mechanical Engineering and Assembly in 2006. Effective October 1, 2014 Michael Protzmann was appointed Managing Director responsible for all technical requirements of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH.
