CEO (Chief Executive Officer) - Chairman of the Management Board
Mr. Guido Löber was appointed to the Management Board of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH, based in Hanau, as Chairman of the Management Board/CEO as of March 4, 2019. Furthermore, Mr. Löber is Managing Director/CEO of GfE Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH and of AMG Technologies GmbH.
After successfully completing his studies in process engineering in 1988, Mr. Löber held various management positions in the field of production and supply chain at Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH. In 2000, Mr. Löber assumed responsibility for the Alloys Division of GfE Metalle und Materialien GmbH. In 2006 he was appointed Managing Director of GfE Metalle und Materialien GmbH. In 2011, he became Managing Director of GfE Fremat GmbH. In November 2013, he assumed overall responsibility for the GfE Group as Managing Director/CEO of GfE Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH based in Nuremberg. GfE Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH operates under the name AMG Titanium Alloys & Coatings within the AMG Group.
On January 1, 2019, Mr. Löber was appointed Managing Director of the newly founded AMG Technologies GmbH, based in Frankfurt. AMG Technologies GmbH acts as a holding company of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH and GfE Gesellschaft für Elektrometallurgie mbH.
CFO (Chief Financial Officer) – Member of the Management Board
Mr. Thomas Dötsch was appointed to the Management Board of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH, Hanau, Germany, as a member of the Management Board/CFO effective April 1st, 2021. In addition, Mr. Dötsch is Managing Director/CFO of AMG Technologies GmbH, Frankfurt.
After successfully completing his studies in industrial engineering in 1992, Mr. Dötsch held various management positions in finance and controlling in different industries. In 1998, he assumed responsibility for the controlling department at the headquarters of RÜTGERS AG, which was listed on the stock exchange at that time. In 2002, Mr. Dötsch was given overall responsibility for finance at the US subsidiary of RÜTGERS Chemicals AG. Following successful restructuring and divestiture, Mr. Dötsch was appointed Business Unit Co-Head for Hydrocarbon Resins and Managing Director of RÜTGERS Kureha Solvents in 2006. In 2010 he was appointed as Managing Director of VESTO PVC Holding and CFO of VESTOLIT GmbH. Following the sale of the company, Mr. Dötsch assumed overall responsibility for the finance division of the ASK Chemicals Group as Managing Director/CFO of ASK Chemicals GmbH in September 2015. Most recently, Mr. Dötsch served as Group CFO of E3 Capital Holding.
CSO (Chief Sales Officer) – Member of the Management Board
Mr. Hohmann graduated from the Technical University of Darmstadt with a master’s degree, Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering. He joined Leybold Heraeus in 1983 as a Design Engineer focusing on powder metallurgy and powder production systems. In 1991 he was promoted to Sales Manager and later to Product Manager for powder and special applications. In 2001 Mr. Hohmann was nominated to Vice President of ALD’s sales division responsible for worldwide contracts in the vacuum metallurgy and powder production markets. He advanced to Sr. Vice President in 2015 to manage the “Profit Center Vacuum Metallurgy” within AMG Engineering.
In August 2020, Michael Hohmann was appointed to the Management Board of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH, headquartered in Hanau, Germany as CSO.
